To speed up your work, try using (and learning) some of the shell commands, listed below. You can type it in your search box in your Start Menu on Vista:
- shell:AppUpdatesFolder - Opens the Installed Windows Updates location in Program and Files.
- shell:AppData - Opens the hidden location C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming

Disable Data Execution Prevention in Vista

To disable Data Execution Prevention in Windows Vista, do the following:
Disable DEP in Vista:
- Click Start
- Click All Programs
- Click Accessories
- Right Click on Command Prompt
- Left click on Run as Administrator
- Click the Allow button if it asks you for permission

devmgmt.msc: This file does not have a program associated

C:\Windows\System32\devmgmt.msc
This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the Set Associations control panel.
