Disable or enable recover deleted items in Outlook 2003 without Group Policy

xplogoIf you want to disable the dumpster (recover deleted items) for your users, you can use the Group Policy. If you can use the Group Policy, I would suggest that. Click here for a manual.

Old appointments are gone in Outlook 2007 or Outlook 2003

outlooklogoWhen all your appointments are gone in Outlook 2007 or Outlook 2003, this is probably the result of AutoArchive settings enabled. When you have turned on Auto Archiving, Outlook automatically archives all your calendar items, older than x months. Typically, Outlook saves your calendar items to archive.pst.

outlooklogoWhen you’re working with Outlook 2003 and Exchange, it is possible to recover your hard-deleted emails. Even when you used SHIFT-DELETE, you’re still able recover the email(s). This can be done by the so-called dumpster.
