Fix the “username is not valid for UserPrincipalName” error message in Exchange 2007
Written by Christian on May 27, 2008 – 5:15 pmAfter an upgrade to Exchange 2007, you may get some errors related to your account and User Principal Name (UPN). This particularly occurs when you have users where no domain name is filled in at User Logon Name at the Account tab in Active Directory.

Exchange 2007: An Active Directory error 0×8007203A occurred while searching for domain controllers in domain [domain name]

Setup encountered a problem while validating the state of Active Directory: An Active Directory error 0×8007203A occurred while searching for domain controllers in domain [domain name] : The server is not operational.

Automatic updates fail after installation of Windows XP SP3
Written by Christian on May 23, 2008 – 6:11 pmAfter the installation of Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3), you might face some trouble with the Automatic Updates feature in Windows XP. In my case, I wasn’t able to install new updates.
An example of the error I got was:

‘Save PDF File As’ after Print to PDF
Written by Christian on May 23, 2008 – 1:57 pmWhen you’re running Vista with UAC enabled, you might get the following error when trying to print a website to PDF:
Save PDF File AS
You don’t have permission to save in this location.
Contact the administrator to obtain permission.
Would you like to save in the [username] folder instead?
